A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health with the leadership of one of Korea's leading medical universities, Kyung Hee University. Welcoming the guests, Minister of Health Teymur Musayev emphasized the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Korea. Teymur Musayev also highlighted the wide potential for collaboration between the two countries in the field of healthcare. According to the minister, all necessary conditions exist for exchanging modern methodological and scientific-practical information in the field of continuous professional medical education. "South Korea has a developed healthcare system. Korean specialists are known worldwide not only for their practical activities but also for their scientific works. New methods for treating oncological diseases, musculoskeletal disorders, heart, liver, and kidney diseases are being perfected and applied here," said the minister.
In conclusion, the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan expressed confidence in the successful development of bilateral cooperation.
In turn, representatives of Kyung Hee University expressed interest in effective cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan. It was noted that the Kyung Hee University system is considered a leading educational institution in traditional Korean medicine, comprising 23 undergraduate colleges, 1 general graduate school, 13 specialized graduate schools, and 49 auxiliary research institutes. The parties discussed potential opportunities for mutual cooperation in various directions.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to develop cooperation.
