Appeal from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the population regarding influenza vaccination
With the onset of the winter season and the sharp drop in temperatures, the rapid spread of respiratory viral infections is anticipated in the country. In connection with this, the seasonal influenza vaccination campaign continues in our country to strengthen preventive and anti-epidemic measures against influenza and acute respiratory viral infections among the population.
It is particularly crucial for healthcare workers, pregnant women, children over 6 months, and adults with chronic respiratory diseases, who belong to the high-risk group for respiratory illnesses, to be vaccinated against influenza during the winter season.
With the aim of protecting the health of the population and preventing cases of acute respiratory viral infections, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan calls on the country's citizens belonging to the high-risk group to get vaccinated against seasonal influenza.
Individuals wishing to get vaccinated against influenza can contact medical institutions providing outpatient and polyclinic services based on their place of residence for both children and adults.
