A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Communities Abroad of Guinea-Bissau
A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health with a delegation led by Carlos Pinto Pereira, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Communities Abroad of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Environment of Guinea-Bissau, Viriato Cassama, along with other dignitaries.
Welcoming the guests, Minister of Health of Azerbaijan, Teymur Musayev, addressed the importance of collaboration between the two countries in various fields, emphasizing the need to strengthen ties in the healthcare sector. According to the minister, such cooperation is being conducted at the international level within the frameworks of the Non-Aligned Movement and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Concluding his remarks, the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan expressed confidence in the further development of bilateral cooperation in the future.
In turn, Carlos Pinto Pereira emphasized the importance Guinea-Bissau places on developing its relations with Azerbaijan, stating: “Diplomatic ties between our countries have been established since 1992. Over this period, the mutual relations between Guinea-Bissau and Azerbaijan have developed with a positive dynamic.”
The meeting also included discussions on providing support for the training of medical specialists from Guinea-Bissau, as well as an exchange of views on other matters of mutual interest.
