Azerbaijan and Albania discussed the development of cooperation in the field of health care
A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Albania to Azerbaijan, Besart Kadia.
Welcoming the guests, Minister of Health Teymur Musayev emphasized that bilateral relations between the two countries are successfully developing. The Minister highlighted that the meetings of the heads of state and the agreements reached have elevated Azerbaijan–Albania relations to a higher level.
Teymur Musayev also noted the broad potential for developing cooperation in the field of healthcare between the two countries. According to the Minister, there are ample opportunities for exchanging modern methodological and scientific-practical experience in the field of continuing professional education of senior medical specialists. In addition, he drew attention to the potential for cooperation in the area of medical tourism.
In conclusion, Minister of Health of Azerbaijan expressed confidence that cooperation will be further strengthened in the future.
In turn, Besart Kadia emphasized the high level of intergovernmental relations and noted the existence of friendly ties between the two countries. The diplomat also expressed his country’s interest in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of healthcare and medical science.
Finally, the parties exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
