A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan with a delegation led by Elena Legezina, President and Executive Director of the U.S. company GE Healthcare for Russia and CIS countries.
Welcoming the guests, Minister of Health of Azerbaijan, Teymur Musayev, noted that GE Healthcare is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of medical equipment and technology. He stated: "The company has extensive experience in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging equipment, including MRI and ultrasound machines, as well as modern IT solutions to leading hospitals worldwide. This expertise allows specialists to obtain accurate information during differential diagnostics. Additionally, GE Healthcare technologies help enhance the efficiency of doctors and medical institutions, facilitating the selection of precise treatment methods for various diseases."
At the end of the meeting, Minister of Health of Azerbaijan expressed confidence in the further development of bilateral cooperation.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, the President of GE Healthcare for Russia and CIS countries emphasized the importance of such meetings for the exchange of knowledge and experience. The head of the delegation expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan. It was noted that in addition to its extensive experience in medical imaging and information technologies, GE Healthcare actively invests in research and innovation while collaborating with leading medical institutions and healthcare professionals. Furthermore, to support specialized professionals and experts in acquiring skills for working with medical equipment, GE Healthcare has established the GE Healthcare Academy training center in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed potential opportunities for mutual cooperation in various fields.
