A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to our country, Thomas Stähli.
Welcoming the guests, Minister of Health Teymur Musayev noted that there are opportunities for cooperation between our countries in the fields of healthcare and medical science. Highlighting that Switzerland is one of the leading countries in the world in the production and sale of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, Teymur Musayev emphasized the existing potential for developing relations in this area as well.
At the end of his speech, Minister of Health of Azerbaijan expressed confidence that cooperation will be further strengthened in the future.
In turn, Thomas Stähli noted that diplomatic relations between our countries were established in 1992 and that cooperation between Switzerland and Azerbaijan has developed with a positive dynamic over this period.
During the meeting, other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
