A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to our country, Alim Bayel. Welcoming the guests, the Minister of Health, Teymur Musayev, emphasized that the historical and cultural unity between the Azerbaijani and Kazakh people forms the foundation of the ties between the two countries. According to the Minister, the traditionally friendly and fraternal relations between our countries go back centuries. He noted the role of high-level reciprocal visits in expanding ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan: "The friendly relations between the heads of state make an invaluable contribution to the development and strengthening of close cooperation between our countries in many areas."
In speech, Teymur Musayev also pointed to the significant potential for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in the field of healthcare. The Minister stated that there are all the necessary conditions for exchanging modern methodological and scientific-practical information in the field of continuous professional development of medical specialists. Interest was also expressed in applying Kazakhstan’s experience in accreditation and quality control of medical institutions in our country.
In conclusion, the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan expressed confidence in the further development of bilateral cooperation.
In turn, Alim Bayel emphasized the high level of bilateral relations and noted that historical, traditionally friendly ties exist between our countries. Interest was also expressed in establishing effective cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, the importance of the 4th session of the Ministers of Health of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, which will be held in Shusha in October, was highlighted in deepening relations between the Ministries of Health of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. There was also an exchange of views on the training of qualified healthcare personnel and other issues of mutual interest.
