Appeal from the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan to citizens regarding holidays
Due to the winter season and unstable weather conditions, there has been an increase in cases of respiratory infections, seasonal flu, and a rise in measles cases in the country.
Among the population groups highly susceptible to seasonal respiratory diseases and measles are children who, for any reason, have not received preventive vaccinations, as well as individuals with underlying health conditions.
In order to protect the health of the population and prevent infections, especially among individuals with high susceptibility, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan recommends the use of individual respiratory protection measures (medical masks) during upcoming weekends and holidays. Additionally, it is advised to maintain hand hygiene and include products that are rich in vitamins in your daily diet.
Each citizen should be particularly attentive and responsible for their health, protecting themselves and others from viruses.
