As part of the 5th meeting of the Ministers of Health of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, a business meeting was held, along with visits to several leading medical centers in Kazakhstan

As part of the meeting, the participants got acquainted with the activities of leading medical centers in Kazakhstan, including the National Coordination Center for Emergency Medicine, the National Scientific Oncology Center, and the Hospital of the Medical Center of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the visit, it was provided that the National Coordination Center for Emergency Medicine coordinates emergency response operations, develops the sanitary aviation service, monitors emergency medical assistance, and implements modern technologies in the field of medical evacuation. At the same time, the National Scientific Oncology Center is the largest specialized medical center in Kazakhstan, offering advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment for cancer diseases. Furthermore, the Hospital of the Medical Center of the Administration of the President of Kazakhstan is a modern medical organization providing qualified, specialized, and high-tech medical assistance to government officials.


As part of the 5th meeting of the health ministers of the member states of the TSO, a sub-regional meeting on the topic "Launch of the 'Central Asia – Tuberculosis-Free' initiative" was also held, initiated by the World Health Organization. During the meeting, information was provided on the successes achieved and the existing challenges in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of tuberculosis in Central Asian countries.


Additionally, within the framework of the event, a business meeting was held with the participation of business partners on the topic: "Attracting Investments in Healthcare in the Organization of Turkic States." During the meeting, the current situation in the healthcare sector and the attraction of investments to this sector were discussed, as well as ways to jointly implement projects aimed at improving the quality of life and health of the citizens of the Organization of Turkic States.


Afterwards, the participants of the 5th meeting of the health ministers of the member states and observers of the TSO visited the exhibition of pharmaceutical and medical equipment of Kazakhstan.
