The Minister of Health of Azerbaijan met with Azerbaijani doctors working in Türkiye
The delegation's visit led by Health Minister Teymur Musayev to Türkiye continues.
Today, with the organizational support of the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul, a meeting was held with Azerbaijani doctors working in Türkiye’s public and private sectors or continuing their education in the brotherly country. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Türkiye, Rashad Mammadov, also attended the meeting.
At the meeting held in a friendly environment, Teymur Musayev emphasized that Azerbaijan is the birthplace of outstanding scientists and thinkers.
The Minister recalled that during the reception of the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Baghdad Amreyev, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stressed that our state will continue to do everything to assist compatriots living abroad: "Azerbaijan has always been proud and will be proud of the worthy children who represent our country with honor. It is gratifying that our compatriots, regardless of which country they live in, have never forgotten their homeland and have always shown their support to our people. The clearest example is that during the critical stages of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Patriotic War, a group of our doctors in Türkiye returned to their homeland to share their experience and knowledge in helping wounded military personnel and fighting against the coronavirus infection."
In his speech, Teymur Musayev stressed that Azerbaijan's healthcare system will continue to provide state support to our doctors specializing in foreign countries and will create the necessary conditions for those who want to serve their homeland.
In turn, our doctors in Türkiye expressed their gratitude for the high value given to their work and informed the Minister about the conditions created for them in the brotherly country.
In conclusion, the Minister answered the doctors' questions.
