Pyotr Glybochko was awarded the "Dostlug" Order
The Rector of the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov, Pyotr Glybochko, was awarded the "Dostlug" Order. He was honored by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev for his special services in strengthening cooperation and mutual relations in the field of education between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation.
The award ceremony took place at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Health Teymur Musayev spoke about Pyotr Glybochko's services. "The state programs adopted in recent years in the direction of developing the healthcare system of Azerbaijan on modern foundations, the innovative projects implemented, and the measures aimed at improving medical education and training professional medical personnel are a vivid example of the great attention and care shown to this area by President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva," said the minister.
Highlighting the importance of enhancing the professionalism of healthcare workers in Azerbaijan, Teymur Musayev emphasized the significance of the activities of the Baku branch of the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov. He also noted that the doctors graduating from this educational institution make significant contributions to the healthcare system of the country.
Teymur Musayev recalled his participation with the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation in the ceremony of presenting diplomas to 87 specialists at the first graduation of the Baku branch in 2021.
The minister noted that there are broad prospects for further strengthening cooperation with the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov.
Expressing his gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, for being awarded the "Dostlug" Order, Pyotr Glybochko emphasized the special significance of this award for him.
The rector also expressed his gratitude to First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for her high support for the activities of the Baku branch of the Sechenov University. Noting that the prestigious faculty of the university teaches students in the Baku branch, Pyotr Glybochko stated that all conditions are created for high-level teaching here.
The rector emphasized that in the future, the Baku branch of the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov will continue to contribute to the training of professional medical personnel in Azerbaijan.
