Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca's working visit to Azerbaijan has started
The Turkish delegation led by Health Minister Fahrettin Koca started a two-day working visit to Azerbaijan.
First, the Turkish delegation, together with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Teymur Musayev, arrived at the Alley of Honor, paid tribute to the memory of the founder of the modern independent Azerbaijan state, national leader Heydar Aliyev, and laid a wreath at his grave.
Flowers were also laid at the graves of prominent ophthalmologist scientist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva, an outstanding scientist, social and political figure, healthcare organizer Aziz Aliyev and well-known scientist Tamerlan Aliyev.
Then the guests visited Alley of Martyrs, where they respectfully honored the memory of heroic sons of the Motherland who fell in the name of Azerbaijan's independence and territorial integrity, laid flowers on their graves, and laid a wreath in front of the "Eternal Flame" monument.
The guests also visited the "Turkish Martyrdom" monument, erected in memory of the Turkish martyr soldiers who died in the battles for the liberation of Baku in 1918. Wreaths and flowers were placed in front of the monument.
Then Fahrettin Koca wrote an entry in the "Memorial Book" of the "Turkish Martyrdom" monument.
During the visit, the Turkish Minister of Health will participate in the Azerbaijani-Turkish Medical Business Forum and Exhibition. In addition, a meeting is planned at the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan, as well as a visit to the pearl of Karabakh and the cultural capital of Azerbaijan - the city of Shusha.
