Within the framework of the Turkic Medical World Congress, the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan held bilateral meetings with the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States and with the Ministers of Health of the OTS member countries
The Turkic Medical World Congress, held under the auspices of the Türkiye’s Presidential Administration with the organizational support of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), continues in Istanbul.
Within the framework of the international event, the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan, Teymur Musayev, held bilateral meetings with the Secretary General of the OTS Baghdad Amreyev, as well as with the Minister of Health of Türkiye, Fahrettin Koca, the Minister of Health of Kazakhstan Azhara Giniyata, the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Gulnara Baatyrova and the Minister of Health of Uzbekistan Behzod Musayev.
During the conversations held in the spirit of constructive dialogue and mutual understanding, the parties discussed new prospects for developing and strengthening cooperation in the healthcare sector. New opportunities for developing and strengthening bilateral relations in the pharmaceutical industry were also discussed.
During the meetings at the end of the 8th Summit of the OTS, it was emphasized that the joint agreement of the heads of state and government to organize the Turkic Medical World Congress in October annually is a historic decision for the healthcare community of our countries. It was noted that the Turkic Medical World Congress intends to promote the development of cooperation in the healthcare field between partners from around the world. In addition, the international congress, with the participation of ministers of health and scientists from the member countries of the OTS, is a unique opportunity to create a solid platform for the benefit of all member states.
