Rasim Miskin oglu Ismayilov
Deputy Minister
Rasim Ismayilov was born on May 21, 1973, in the city of Baku.
In 1980, he enrolled in the first grade at School No. 36 in the Narimanov district of Baku and completed the 8th grade in 1988. He was then admitted to the 9th grade of the Technical-Humanitarian Lyceum No. 2 named after H. Mahmudbeyov in the Sabail district.
Upon graduating from the lyceum in 1990, he entered the Baku branch of the Leningrad Institute of Finance and Economics named after N.A. Voznesensky. In 1995, he graduated from the commercial faculty of the Azerbaijan State Economic Institute with a degree.
After completing his studies, until September 2001, he held positions such as first-degree accountant-inspector, senior accountant-inspector, and leading economist at the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology.
In September 2001, he began working as a specialist in currency operations at Muğan Commercial Bank. By December 2002, he became the deputy head of the customer service department, was appointed head of the operations department in November 2003, and served as the deputy chairman of the bank's Management Board in December 2005, holding this position until April 2017.
From April 2017 to August 2017, he provided advisory services in evaluation at "Baker Tilly Azerbaijan" audit firm.
From August 2017 to October 2018, he worked as a financial advisor to the CEO at Fertiz S.A., a company engaged in foreign trade operating in the Republic of Poland.
From October 2018 to February 2022, he worked as the deputy head of the Finance Department of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
By the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 3, 2022, he was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Health.
He is married and has two children.
