The Ministers of Health of Azerbaijan and Russia held a meeting
As part of the official visit to Azerbaijan, the delegation led by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, visited the Alley of Honor, where they paid tribute to the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people and the founder and architect of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, and laid a wreath at his tomb.
The delegation then visited the Alley of Martyrs to honor the memory of the heroic sons and daughters of Azerbaijan who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity.
As part of the visit, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Teymur Musayev, held a meeting with the delegation led by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia in the healthcare sector and prospects for its further development.
Minister Teymur Musayev noted that cooperation between the two countries is being successfully carried out across various fields and emphasized the importance of further strengthening bilateral ties in healthcare. He stated that there are favorable opportunities to expand cooperation in medical education, the training and professional development of healthcare personnel, scientific research, digital health, public health, and other areas.
The Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, emphasized the importance his country attaches to strengthening cooperation in the healthcare sector between the two nations. He noted that the exchange of experience, the implementation of joint scientific and practical projects, and enhanced cooperation between healthcare professionals would make a significant contribution to the development of the healthcare systems of both countries.
During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the ministers expressed confidence that cooperation in the healthcare sector would continue to develop successfully.
