Israeli medical specialists have been awarded by the Ministry of Health
At the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mikki Gideon, Director of the Pediatric Neurosurgery Department at Israel’s Soroka University Medical Center, was awarded the “Healthcare Excellence” badge.
In addition, Elana Cantor, founder of the “Israeli Pediatrics Week in Azerbaijan” project, received a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Health for the successful implementation of the project in Azerbaijan, her many years of productive work, and her contribution to the development of Azerbaijani-Israeli medical cooperation.
Speaking at the event, Health Minister Teymur Musayev emphasized that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel in the healthcare sector has developed successfully in recent years. The minister noted that projects focused on the exchange of experience between medical institutions and specialists of the two countries, scientific and practical cooperation, and professional training have made a significant contribution to the development of the healthcare system.
Minister Teymur Musayev presented the awards and congratulated the recipients, wishing them success in their future endeavors. He also stressed that expanding international cooperation in healthcare is of great importance for the continued development of Azerbaijan’s healthcare system.
In their remarks, Dr. Mikki Gideon and Elana Cantor expressed their gratitude for the high honor bestowed upon them and emphasized that they would continue their efforts to further strengthen healthcare cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel.
