Minister of Health Meets with Jordanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Health Teymur Musayev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Omar Barakat Al-Nahar.
During the meeting, the sides held a detailed exchange of views on the current state of bilateral cooperation in the healthcare sector and prospects for its further development. The discussions covered the organization of medical services, digital healthcare, medical science, pharmaceuticals, and the expansion of mutual experience-sharing.
Teymur Musayev emphasized the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Jordan across various fields. The Minister noted that there are opportunities to further develop cooperation in the healthcare sector, particularly in the areas of mutual experience-sharing, medical education, the training of healthcare professionals, and scientific and practical collaboration.
Omar Barakat Al-Nahar emphasized that relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan are developing dynamically. The Ambassador noted that further expanding cooperation in the healthcare sector, organizing mutual visits, and implementing joint projects would be beneficial for both countries.
At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their confidence that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Jordan in the healthcare sector would continue successfully.
