September 27 – The beginning of the glorious path leading to the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan
Five years have passed since the beginning of the Patriotic War.
In accordance with the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, September 27 is observed in our country as Memorial Day.
In connection with Memorial Day, the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Health visited the Victory Park. They laid bouquets of flowers in front of the memorial stone and honored the cherished memory of the martyrs with deep respect.
Under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, one of the most glorious pages of our history was written, inspired by the courage of the victorious Azerbaijani Army and the unity of the people and the state, resulting in a triumph and a heroic legacy.
September 27 is a proud day that marks the beginning of our 44-day Patriotic War, which ended in victory. It represents the restoration of our territorial integrity, the reversal of a long-standing historical injustice, the full establishment of our sovereignty, and the return of our lands to their rightful owners.
May God have mercy on all our martyrs and grant healing to our wounded soldiers!
