A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health with the delegation of the United Arab Emirates
The Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Teymur Musayev, met with a delegation led by the Minister of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Saeed Bin Mubarak Al Hajeri.
Welcoming the guests, Teymur Musayev emphasized that the visits of President Ilham Aliyev to the United Arab Emirates, as well as the visits of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Azerbaijan, including Karabakh, and the discussions held during these visits have played an important role in expanding relations between the two countries.
The Minister noted that cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates is successfully developing in various fields, including the healthcare sector. He spoke about the reforms being implemented in the country aimed at modernizing the healthcare system, improving the quality of medical services, and introducing digital health solutions.
The Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and emphasized that his country is ready to further expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of healthcare.
During the meeting, the parties held extensive discussions on the current state of cooperation in the healthcare sector and prospects for its future development. Particular attention was paid to the application of innovative medical technologies, the development of healthcare infrastructure, improving the quality of medical services, and the establishment of digital health systems. In addition, they exchanged views on the training and professional development of medical personnel, cooperation in research and innovation, as well as the study and application of advanced international practices.
At the end of the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of such meetings for deepening mutual cooperation and agreed to further expand relations and continue work on specific joint projects in the future.
