A regular meeting of the Working Group on the organization of medical services in the territories liberated from occupation was held at the Ministry of Health.
The Working Group was established by a corresponding Order of the Minister of Health in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, within the framework of the "Second State Program of the Great Return to the Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan Liberated from Occupation" and the "Strategy for the Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030."
At the meeting chaired by Minister of Health Teymur Musayev and attended by representatives of relevant state bodies, issues related to the organization of medical services within the framework of the “First State Program of the Great Return to the Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan Liberated from Occupation” and the current situation were discussed.
In addition, general approaches were discussed regarding ensuring the quality and accessibility of medical services for the population living in the liberated territories, the creation of healthcare infrastructure, equipping it with modern equipment, and the training of personnel. Productive discussions also took place aimed at developing a unified strategy.
Furthermore, discussions were held on planning, strategic goals, and activities of medical services to provide comprehensive, accessible, and high-quality medical care to the population in accordance with resettlement in the liberated territories within the framework of the “Second State Program of the Great Return to the Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan Liberated from Occupation.” The next steps were outlined and relevant instructions were given.
