Main tasks of the Department of Informatics and Statistics:
1) Compilation of information regarding the condition, dynamics, and quality assessment of medical care provided to the population of the Republic, collection, processing, and analysis of medical statistical information in the program volume concerning the activity of medical care and prevention institutions, preparation, and analysis;
2) Implementation of organizational and methodological guidance over all statistical information, epidemiological analysis, and research service departments of the Republic's healthcare institutions, enhancement of professional expertise of specialists in informatics and medical statistics;
3) Studying the population's health status and demographic processes;
4) Ensuring the accuracy of information in initial registration forms and report documents approved by the Republic State Statistical Committee for medical care and prevention institutions.
